In 2020 a team from the University of Napoli “L’Orientale” and Universitas Indonesia carried out a photogrammetric survey of a 7th century AD boat found in Punjulharjo, Central Java.
This fieldwork is part of the Indonesian Boatbuilding Endangered Heritage Project. The aim is to record the peculiarities of ancient and contemporary boats and boatbuilding practices in Indonesia and the related socio-cultural context.
