Calls for Awards of Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Italian Researchers and “Startuppers” abroad

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) promotes the fourth edition of Young Researchers’ and Startuppers’ Awards for Italians abroad.

The awards, intended for Italian talents who successfully dedicate themselves to research and innovation in foreign countries, are divided into two categories:

The “Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award” is aimed at brilliant young Italian scientists who have made a significant contribution in the field of science and technology in conducting research activities abroad, promoting the scientific-technological collaboration relationships of the Italy with foreign institutions or with international organizations;

On the other hand, the “Innovation that speaks Italian” Award is a recognition of the highly innovative value of Technological Startups operating abroad that are founded by Italian citizens.

The deadline for submitting applications 4th September 2020. 

The prizes, which will consist of a medal and a diploma from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will be awarded in the autumn during the annual Conference of Scientific Attachés of the Italian Embassies in the world (tentative date  26th November 2020, to be confirmed).
