On the days 5-6 February 2024, in Jakarta was held an International Development Law Organization’s workshop, organized with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in collaboration with the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, as the Co-Chair of Working group of the Council of ASEAN Chief Justices (CACJ).
The final aim of the workshop was to gather insights, competences and practices of environmental law from the courts of the ASEAN countries, to assess the capacity-building needs of the different juridical systems. This exchange will help to develop an e-learning training module on environmental law for said courts, to deal with the environmental catastrophes increasingly affecting the countries of Southeast Asia.
